The annual rugby tournament hosted by the NZ Tongan Sport and Cultural Trust kicks off this Saturday the 14th of November 2009 at the Bruce Pulman Park in Takanini.
The rugby tournament is expected to run through the Christmas season and expect to hold the finals on the 23rd of January 2010. This years tournament is expected to be an exciting year with a couple of new teams joining the competition.
The opening of the tournament this Saturday will also hold a memorial session and it is dedicated to the devastating accident of the MV-Ashika and Tsunami Tragedy that hit Samoa and Niua.
The teams competing in this years tournament is set out in it's round pools listed below. Weekly game draw will be updated in the Events section of the e-tonga.net website as they become available.
